We are Vida Verde a group of passionate regenerators, artists and creators, lovers of the planet that

👣 Our first steps 

Vida Verde was born in August 2020 an idea conceived by Carmen Victoria Turmero e Iván Montti where despite the pandemic in mid 2021 we created beautiful alliances and advanced in the desing of our space and began work in the field in the rural area of the municipality of El Hatillo, Miranda state, Venezuela. In this beautiful mountain of cloud forest we began to work on the adaptation of the land and the construction of the first Hogar Verde, Ecological and Intelligent House in sustainable architecture, in 2022 we began to train for self-construction and native regenerative planting, we installed the first Maritime Container, we moved towards our permaculture system, we planted trees of fruit and native species in the surrounding areas, Since 2023 we have been living 100% in Vida Verde, we are currently dedicated to the self-construction of spaces such as collective kitchen, movement and wellness area, outdoor bathrooms, bio-filters, water systems, animal care and crops among other tasks.

In the midst of this process we have not only trained ourselves but we have also imparted knowledge to more than 100 children and young people in the areas of gardening, recycling and art, promoting in them ecological awareness and love for nature.

🍀 + VIDA + VERDE

Our goal is to have a stable Green Roots nucleus, an educational space that involves nearby rural communities to reconnect them with ancestral practices of care and regeneration of nature and to complete the final stages of construction of our Hogar Verde residences.

With your donation we will be able to advance in the construction of our two pilot projects, destined to the formation of rural families that will be able to be part of our free and permanent educational programs.

💡 GREEN ROOTS | Learning Nucleus

Our GREEN ROOTS training nucleus where we will incubate and design new proposals for environmental regeneration, through permanent recycling workshops, family garden workshops, reforestation, Diverse Forests, Sustainable Architecture.

⚙Workshop: Our Green Roots will have a workshop space with the necessary tools to develop the projects and tasks of each area.

♻️Reciclaje: Area of planning and development of projects with recyclable materials, mainly plastic, incorporating them in a more sustainable way.⚙

🌳 Agro Floresta: We value syntrophic agriculture so we have designed a diverse or edible forest that can be replicated in deforested areas.

🏚 Sustainable Architecture: Design and implementation of sustainable architecture projects in rural areas.

🧘🏽‍♀️Movimiento and Wellness: The body is our temple therefore we will have spaces for exercises dedicated to keep us harmonious with nature.

🎨 Arts, Dance, Theater and Music: Our programs to teach art are free for the whole community.

On the way to our DAO

Our dynamic and implementation of governance we have called it Rotary Coperation and should in the future become a great DAO that promises to be efficient to generate a compact fabric of autonomous enterprises, associations and individuals who will be able to design together new forms of economies based on sustainability and regeneration of different ecosystems, demonstrating that we can free ourselves from the production systems that reign today that has only brought backwardness and an imminent danger that threatens the disappearance of all species on the planet.

El Hatillo historically was an agricultural area mainly in coffee and oranges, with the appearance of oil in Venezuela in the political Geo board little by little the agricultural Venezuela was disappearing. In 1950 the natural inhabitants of the fields were migrating to the big cities.

Our goal is to have a stable nucleus, an educational space that involves rural communities to reconnect them with ancestral practices of care and regeneration of nature.

🍃Hogar Verde | Residence House

This is the place where we have already hosted collaborators, volunteers and workshop participants of Vida Verde, currently built at 50%, this project is in container architecture and has enabled a kitchen, sink, 1 bedroom and living room and we have to finish the two rooms that will go on the second floor, the bathroom, painting and electrical and sanitary installations so we can receive them in a dignified and cozy way.
